Insert image?

How do I insert an image of one of my (in-game) horses to my page intro (page layout)? I click the insert image button and put the url & width/height but all that shows up is an outline or a square?! All help/advice is appreciated 

The horse art is displayed as a series of images laid over each other, so the only way you can embed horse art is by taking a screenshot of the horse, then uploading that image somewhere (not an art site, and preferably non-public cause the art belongs to the game). Then display that image.
