how do I transfer?

I want to send a new-player friend of mine some money to help her get started. Not only can I not find an option to do that, but I can't find an option to send anything. Horses, items, etc... 

How do I transfer? Where's the button for it? Is it different for different things?

there are separate places for each of those. to send money you go to your bank, you go to the individual horse’s page and scroll to the bottom to transfer a horse, and to transfer items you click on that individual item or item stack in your inventory to transfer.
