Mari 
"Well, unfortunately my valuables left this morning, so I don't think there's much there," Mari said in response to Quinn. 

Quincy 
"It was just a joke anyway." Quinn watched the clouds for a moment, but the sound of Shane's weapon extending to life had him sitting back up. "Why'd you do that?"

Shane
"I like studying my bow...?" Shane said, his tone awkward and slightly embarrased.

Mari 
Mari shrugged and studied Shane's bow. She has several weapons with her at the moment, so she wasn't one to judge.

Quincy
"Oh." The tension wouldn't release its grip on him regardless. "Something's wrong," Quinn mumbled. His gaze wandered to the playground again, where a larger number of kids were now playing. Suddenly, the thing that was bothering him seemed all too obvious. He leaped to his feet, spinning to the other two and yanking them up, too. "I might need help. You're both armed, right? Come on." With that he took off across the park, not sure if they would follow. His hard expression was focused on a shady-looking individual whose hand was pulling a slightly resisting kid.

Shane
From being the youngest, Shane almost never thought about what he was doing or why he was doing it. All he knew was to follow, and he did. He morphed his bow back into a pocket knife, then ran after Quinn silently.

Quincy
When he neared the man he slowed and slipped into the shadows, sneaking up behind him. Without hesitation he jumped forward, pulling the man's hand off the boy's arm and pushing the man back a little. "Hey, do you know this guy?" Quinn asked gently to the wide-eyed little boy. His one hand casually kept hold of the man's wrist, which he was trying to pull free. The boy shook his head. "Alright. Go back to your parents, okay?" He nodded and sprinted away. The man cursed, and Quinn felt the breath forced out of him when the man's other hand came slamming into his gut in a tight fist. He loosed his grip just enough for the would-be-kidnapper to pull his hand free. After stumbling back a couple steps, Quinn looked up and met the man's hard glare with a murderous look of his own. "You're going to regret that."

Shane
Shane jogged up behind Quinn, keeping his distance slightly. He debated his life and if this shot was really worth it, but finally decided it wouldn't be too bad. He took out his bow, nocked an arrow and let it fly right into the kidnapper's shoulder. Hey, I get to go to jail, wippee.

Quincy
He slapped his hand over the man's mouth and stifled the scream that erupted when the arrow sunk in. Quinn yanked it out and tossed it on the ground, pushing the man into the shadows. The punches thrown at him hurt, but Quinn could ignore that for now. "Shane, call the cops." Quinn's calm voice seemed contrary to the harsh expression on his features and the fact he was mildly struggling to keep the much taller man under control. He yanked his hand back from the guy's mouth with a wince when the man bit into his palm, rewarding the action by stopping one hand before it could hit him again.

Shane
Shane nodded, grabbing his cell phone and dialing 911. He stated his emergency, his voice completely calm and seemingly uncaring. "They'll be here soon," he said, hanging up and shrugging. "Want help?"

Quincy
"Sure." Only one hand was available to stop the grown man's attacks, the other preoccupied in holding him in place. He didn't want to draw attention to the situation and scare the kids. Which meant he was getting a minor beating, but adrenaline and anger kept him from feeling it.

Shane
Shane nodded and went over to help, though he doubted he could have been of much use. "Just knock him out."

Quincy
"That's kind of hard to do." At only 5'9", Quinn was just a little on the short side, especially when compared to the much taller criminal. 

Shane
Shane looked around momentarily. Finding a stone, he went and grabbed it, holding it over the dude's head and staring at Quinn like he was waiting for him to say 'yes'.

Quincy
For some reason the dude was paying no attention to Shane, which actually worked out. "Well? I can't hold on forever." As if waiting for that moment, the man threw a blow to Quinn's abdomen, and when he went to block it with his hand the other fist came up and slammed down hard onto Quinn's head. Disoriented, he stumbled back a couple steps.
