Please can you tell me if breeding this pair is a good idea or not with regard just to conformation. Please bear in mind that I do not own both horses so would have to pay a fee (which i am happy to do providing your comments make it a positive decision). I know other factors are involved but it is the conformation I am concerned about as my confidence is lacking and would appreciate your help. Please comment on whether it should be a positive/negative breeding

Both horses have a poor in the shoulder category, which is the only problem I'm seeing here, but the rest of it looks just fine.

I, personally, would not breed this pairing. if your goal is to improve confo, breeding horses with poors in the same area will not increase confo (or so I believe). I suggest breeding horses who have different poor areas, to balance out the confo and to increase your chances of improving the foal’s confo.

Thanks for your comments. I had come to that conclusion and bred her to a different stallion though the outcome was not as good as hoped for but not as bad as it could have been.
