I created these babes (plus a seal brown cutie) for myself over the course of the last like, two days. I'm such a horrible hoarder. And I totally don't have a thing for chestnuts. Nope. #18000 Posted on 2016-03-11 15:49:33 All these were designed using a mouse. And a set of private brushes I've compiled specifically for horse markings. Either created by myself or were pulled from free-to-use packs from other artists. The only brushes I paid for are those used to create my spotted Appaloosas (like Kotami). I can't give you lessons. Only thing I can say is practice and study. The more you learn about horse colors, and how they look, the easier it is to recreate them without having to use references. A big part of this, for those who desire to create pintos and appaloosas, is learning how each pinto and appy pattern look (and the combined effects when more than one of them are on the same horse). Nothing drives me crazier, for example, than seeing someone throw random splotches of white on a horse and calling it a "tobiano" when it has no trademark characteristics of a tobiano whatosever :c 0 members like this post.
