question about selling art

I have a quick question regarding art sales and since I couldn't find the answer (I may have overlooked it), I thought it would be best to ask it here.

is it allowed to ask for other currency? say, as an example, someone was selling character designs and placed the autobuy as 100 deviantart points; would that be allowed? of course, the bidder would also have to be a deviantart member, as the transaction would take place on dA.

(I could have sworn that I posted this in the "help me" board??)

No, you cannot sell anything for non-game currency, or even supply links to sales for any off-site or real world currency.
