Conformation of Foal

Hi
Can someone please explain why my foal (FlashySplashy Globetrotter - Chincoteague) has less faults (poors) than parents but the conformation score is lower than both parents.  Previous experience only with horses of higher conformation scores so wasn't that aware.

<sup>The parents both have higher goods in different areas so they averaged out in the foal. As a result, your foal has fewer poor ratings but also lower good ratings than the parents. 

There's also a +/- chance for each score so you can end up with a lot worse or better conformation than the parents.</sup>
