I CAN FINALLY TALK?!

I finally levelled high enough!

The level wall on talking in the forums is one of the most perplexing things I have ever encountered in a game. can anyone explain to me why it exists?

The level wall combined with the lack of a game guide was just so frustrating. I have so many questions about game mechanics and absolutely no where to go to get answers, and I couldn't ASK in the forums because I wasn't allowed to use the forums yet?!

Is there anywhere I can go to submit a suggestion about having this removed? it's not actually a bug, so it doesn't seem like it would go in the bugs forum.I would really like the admin to reconsider this "feature" because as a new member, it was incredibly incredibly frustrating. If the level wall remains up than a written game guide really does need to be prioritized I think.

If this was the case, you could have submitted a ticket so a moderator could have helped you :). Submitting tickets for help is available to all members, regardless of level. Did you complete the tutorial? If you had, there is a step in the tutorial that takes you to the moderator section where you can ask for help.

The FAQ/Game Guide is still in development, the level requirement was established for several reasons after much consideration, sorry you had problems prior to being able to post. As Mint explained, you are more than welcome to submit a help ticket and a moderator will be able to assist you =)

1. yes I of coarse completed the tutorial!
2. Support tickets didn't (and still don't) seem like the right route to go through to ask simple questions like "Where do peppermints drop" or "How are show results calculated". Especially when a 'help' forum exists. it doesn't make sense to me that the members who would USE this forum aren't allowed to access it.

Leveling up to level 3 normally takes ~2 days (it took me 1 when I did it two weeks ago on my other account); however due to a recent problem with the way that experience was being calculated levels were not advancing properly and this probably led an extremely long time before you were able to talk. (As the problem took a long time to diagnose and then fix). I hope you find it easier and more enjoyable to navigate EV from here.

The barrier I think has helped the game. It was put there to make sure people were playing the game, not just here for the forums (and some other things I'm sure, ;)). And yo can go about asking for it to be removed by posting in the Suggestions board at the top of the forums. And forums are accessible to all regardless of level, you just can't post in them.
