#17460 Posted on 2016-03-10 10:13:14 I've gone a bit panicky and have a need for a fresh start.. again. xD [As you may have realised by now, I feel like this quite often aha] Therefore, I'm going to completely clear out my herd again [all horses are up for sale] :D I now have a difficult choice of choosing new breeds, and I have slightly narrowed it down. Now I would like some help with getting it down to 2 breeds! Some breeds I have listed are ones I have had before but I feel like I need to restart! My short list consists of these breeds: Clydesdales Dutch Warmbloods Friesians Morgans Thoroughbreds Trakehners Gypsy Vanners Welsh Ponies Your opinions on what breeds I should start would be awesome! If you feel like I should start a different breed than these, please don't be afraid to suggest them! This will end once I'm convinced with two breeds Thank you! #17463 Posted on 2016-03-10 10:27:37 I love Welsh Ponies as they are strong-willed and hardy (in real life) and on EV they are beautiful, popular (but not overly) and come in gorgeous colours! #17701 Posted on 2016-03-10 21:16:09 Gypsy Vanners have amazing new artwork and genetic diversity! They've gotten very popular in the recode, so there are a lot of people playing with them right now. Welsh Ponies always need more breeders, haha. (And I'd nudge you toward show jumping for them, because that's what I breed them for, haha.) Friesians are another one with relatively few dedicated breeders; they don't have much genetic diversity, so a lot of people get bored with them. I like it in some ways, as it's easier to focus in on stats or conformation. Morgans also often lack dedicated breeders. There are a few of us, but often not many. 0 members like this post.
