My ghost story

Okay,

My house is slightly haunted, 2 days ago, I was in my room, hanging out with my cat and straightening up. I hear my mom’s bedroom door move a little, I look over and assumed she in her room. I get closer and see someone standing by the window, that persons back was to me, I thought it was my mom. I called to her and she didn’t answer and I assumed, she was doing something important and I went back to my room.

In 2 seconds, I hear my mom calling me for lunch and I ran down the stairs and she was in the kitchen, I asked her if she was in her room a few minutes ago, she said no, she been in the kitchen the whole time. She was cleaning it and other rooms the whole time. I wish I looked in my mom’s room, before I went downstairs.

I have a overactive imagination. I want to know, if I was seeing things or I saw a spirit.
It wasn’t the curtains, they are off white and see through. 

Could there have been anyone else in the house? Honestly I would've probably run out of the house and called the police on an intruder xD thumbs up for not doing that, lol.
Tbh, I don't exactly believe in spirits, I do believe in angels and demons (I'm a Christian), so I would tend to believe it wasn't a spirit, but idk what it is. If you had seen someone for a "more than a split second" type thing, it obviously was something. I have an overly-active imagination as well, but I've never been able to ligit "see" something that's not there. Although I know that's possible, but I think it takes a while to actually convince your brain that there is someone or something there, and that's a ton of physocological stuff that my brother's only mentioned once sooo....
Idk what it is or was, but I can pray for your safety if you'd like? 
(And idk how this could offend anyone, but just to make sure, what I wrote was not ment to offend anyone at all ♥ If I did however, feel free to tell me and I will delete this post, thanks. (: )

You did not offend me, I thought the same thing, but this person was not solid, but shimmery. I ran back upstairs and nothing was stolen and I checked the attics with a flashlight. Nobody was there, let me just say, my heart lept in my throat. 

It was not my eyes going bad, I just saw the eye doctor last week.
