Major Tokyo Ghoul fan here, anime and manga (more of a manga fan).

As for K-Pop, I'm meh. I'm not a really a fan of kpop, but everyone has their own preferences I guess.

I’m not a k-pop fan but I do listen to BTS, Shinee and a few others somedays.
I didn’t really like TG, Boku no Hero Academia was okay :D I don’t watch as much anime nowadays as I used to, but sometimes yes. I’ve seen over 300 animes if I remember right, so I’m familiar with many many series! I also do read manga, I even have some on my bookshelf.

Haven't but I used to be a big k-pop fan and I loved k-dramas. I do still dabble in anime! Used to be a big a-kon attender (anime convention)

I have a few pictures of myself cosplaying a character i created!

I liked 2NE1 til their hiatus & still follow CL's career now. Whenever I feel a bit unhappy I go listen to I Am The Best!

I used to be K-Pop fan but I've losing my interest in Kpop due to how people treated idols and many more.
I still listen to Seventeen, B.A.P, and iKON tho

I recommend you to watch Idol Producer (Mandopop/CPOP survival show with Jackson, Lay, Pinky, and Xiao in it), the treatments are so different from KPOP. The boys are actively gaining weights in Idol Producer while their fans are rooting for it. In KPOP, idols often get fat-shamed even if they aren't overweight at all and often endured unhealthy diets and many more. The boys genuinely are friends and often would help other (even if they aren't close) to success. In Kpop industry, you don't really see that unless they put on a show (scripted). In Mandopop, male and female artists can interact without getting eaten alive by their jealous fans. You also have bunch of fans who are actively shipping Xiao with Xingjie because of their close friendship. In Kpop, opposite sex ships are almost unheard. Fans will only ship same-sex because they knew that it is unlikely for any of them to be gay or come out as a gay. In rare cases, if the girls/guys happened to exhibit any small signs that they might actually attract to same sex, then fans will stop supporting their ships because they are too jealous.

After I watched Idol Producer, I realized how horrible KPOP industry is and slowly left the industry because I just can't stand watching my favorite artists starving themselves and many more.

Obviously, Mandopop isn't perfect too. All music industries are corrupted but Idol Producer make me realized that Kpop is pretty bad.

Andromeda, it really is horrible how fans are currently treating their k-pop idols. It's unbelievable. I remember BTS having a concert in Sweden, and there the swedish girls ripped their clothes off... Then a rumor (one that was true) spread that they will be taking a break in Finland, and the whole community here agreed on not disturbing them at all. I was so glad they were able to relax after that.
And about the fat shaming, that one too is a really bad thing. I mean, many of them are already skinny or have muscles, they clearly work out, and are still shamed. It's like their fans think they exist just for their enjoyment.. Nahh it definitely shouldn't be like that. Plus has anyone else been noticing how many girls' obsession with their k-pop idols has lead to the girls starving themselves etc? I don't know who started it, but it's horrifying. Especially when you get to see that happening to a friend.

Hi,

I have not seen Tokyo Ghoul or listen to K-Pop. But I have watch other anime, but I will not list them here.
Because some are violent or inappropriate, while others are very funny.
