Official Club Ideas

I recently discovered that the clubs have lost their group bank. As such, the registry fees we are paying are just disappearing into the ether, rather than going towards the club.

I propose this be reinstated. Club banks ensure the solvency of a club and its ability to run contests and giveaways.

In addition to this, I would like to suggest a discounted fee for registering a foal when both his/her parents are registered. So, if the Father is a registered Welsh and the Mother is a registered Welsh, then the foal is either auto-accepted, or accepted at half the fee.

Thoughts?

I support the bank idea, as this would be helpful for running contests. There is a chance a president can abuse this, such as sending the money to their own accounts, or favouring their friends in contests, but I consider this unlikely as such a person is unlikely to get elected to begin with.

I don't support the auto-accept idea. Just because parents meet the registration requirements doesn't mean their foal would, especially since requirements can change.

The discounted fee idea I'm on the fence about. I really don't mind one way or the other.

I didn't vote using the buttons since this post concerns multiple suggestions. It might be helpful if you split this post so you've got one suggestion per thread. I know sometimes doing this seems a bit superfluous when your suggestion is small, but it's a lot easier to vote that way.

In another thread Abbey said the bank is there, just hidden.

I rather do like the discount for foals of registered horses.

(that post is on the bug forum because I really didn't know what was going on at first)

I do think that foals who are 1 yr. or less could be registered with a qualifying mare. Not so sure about auto registration for foals just because parents are registered though.

It does seem like the banks are coming back online soon. At this point I guess I'm just not clear of the purpose of registering. We shall see what happens, I guess.
