how long does it take a horse to die of neglect?

sorry for the morbid subject D:

does anyone know how long it takes a horse to die of neglect?

i'd rather not experiment with a poor pixel pony, so i'm hoping someone might already know. if not, please don't be disturbed by the fact that there might be a slowly dying horse on my account soon o.0

I believe they are sent to the rescue center. On old EV at least you'd get a notif that if you didn't care for them soon they'd be seized and then after they were sent you were given like 5 days to reclaim them

They don't go to the rescue center anymore with the recode; they just die of neglect.

But I know they did go to the RC before - that's how i snagged some nice horses as a newbie xD

If you don't care for them, on the 7th day you will get a notification. On the 9th day, they will die.

oh perfect - i don't have to kill one to find out xD

Ok I disagree, you get a notice on day 3 and they die on day 5.
Should this happen you are sent a notification. If they are less than 22 you have an option of giving Spectral Draught to revive. I also was able to give Spectral to a horse that died before the recode, then gave Time Twister and now I have a foal on the way.

Sparkles, are you say that you DO get a notification on day three, or that you think that players SHOULD get a notification at day three?

😔 sadly I am here to tell you that a notification is sent on day 3, then they die on day 5. Happily there is Spectral Draught however that is pricey when you have to purchase EV credits for it.
Uncared for horses DO NOT go to the Rescue Center and I think I read somewhere that the Rescue Center horses have a 3 day limit then they also go to the great paddocks in the sky.

hmm, that's very interesting.

i'm think i'm going to try to 'time' the death of an old horse i'll snag from the RC so that it dies before it turns 22, and is therefore revivable if i'd ever need to.
