I played this game some time ago... It changed.

Is there any possibility to predict foal's ointment now?

foal color is predictable. well, as predictable as genetics are :P

 there is now even a "preview foal" feature that will show you possible foals from the paring. sometimes there are multiple possibilities for color, and the preview shows only one at a time, but you can refresh for more.
