I am newer to the game, started last week. I breed quarter horses, but don't know a whole lot about them on this game. So I have a few questions...
1. What are the rarest colors and markings on the game right now... in the quarter horse breed?
2. Who are the top quarter horse breeders on here?
3. Who else breeds quarter horses, and what do they breed for?
Right now I am breeding for color only, although I won't breed horses who have an average of 50 or less in conformation and health. I am gradually getting better conformation, along with the color I want.
So far the colors I have are...
- Chestnut
- Black
- Bay
- Smoky Black
- Palomino
- Buckskin
- Champagne (a couple different ones)
- Red Dun
- Smoky Cream
- Silver perlino
The markings I have bred and own so far are....
- Flaxen
- Roan
- Dun
- Silver
- Blue eyes
- Rabicano
- Sabino
My goal is to breed a Dunalino roan stallion with blue eyes and an average conformation and health of over 85, preferably over 90 to use as a breeding stallion.
Right now I am just trying to get mainly cream, roan and blue eyes on my horses, such as buckskin, palomino, cremello and smoky black.
On my last foal crop I achieved a palomino roan stallion with blue eyes and over 60 confo and health average. He is going to be my main stud once she reaches breeding maturity.

1. What are the rarest colors and markings on the game right now... in the quarter horse breed? Rarest is hard to determine. However double Cream (CrCr), Champagne, Dun, Silver, Flaxen (ff), and non-bays (black or chestnut) are all desired colors. Most, but not all, QH players breed for any of the patterns. Personally I like Sabino, Overo, Tobiano, and Roan the best (listed in order of most to least liked).
2. Who are the top quarter horse breeders on here? Frosted Mint, Pistol, maple, Rising Dawn, and myself. (there are many others with similar horses, but these are the breeders that come to mind)
3. Who else breeds quarter horses, and what do they breed for? click me for info! :)
4. Other? Stats aver very important to many breeders on this game; if you wait to breed your horses until they are 16-20 (after taking care of them everyday, including giving them treats and competing with them) you'll get better results and more people will be interested in your foals if/when you try to sell them. (Just a little piece of advice :).

1. What are the rarest colors and markings on the game right now... Definitely the new colours that were introduced in this new version of ev.. Gold cream champagne dun etc...the cream dilutes, champagne combos...flaxens n silvers.
2. Who are the top quarter horse breeders on here? I used to be one of the top breeders. Sold all my horses just before the recode, sigh...so now Im starting over again..
3. Who else breeds quarter horses, and what do they breed for? click me for info! :)
I dooo! lolz.. I breed for stats first and foremost...then colour. I absolutely love dunalinos..They are by far my fav colour qh in this new game. I also breed for bald faces and 4 stockings...I prefer solids with lots of chrome lol... flaxens etcc
4. Other? I love your goal of breeding a blue eyed dunalino...Let me know if you get one..Id love to see it and drool over it! lol.. Also, what Aglet said is very useful. Patience is a virtue on this game. Try to wait til your horses are older before breeding them...that way, your foals will be ahead of the game with higher stats. It also helps in limiting the number of times horses are bred, which controls over breeding...

Hopefully I will get a blue eyes Dunalino in a couple weeks. I have a blue eyed palomino roan that was off my last foal crop. He is going to be my next stallion prospect.
I am probably over populating the quarter horse world on here right now, but I do have plans to slow down on my breeding once my next foal crop is done and only breed the good mares with good conformation and good stats to great stallions.
But right now I have 19 mares in foal, and will start foaling tomorrow and continue over the next 5 days. However, all mares are colored (only one bay is bred, and she has blue eyes) and are bred to a buckskin roan stud, except 3 mares, whom are bred to a palomino stud.
I should get some decent foals with nice color and markings. I may even get a dunalino out of one mare!
