Wedding preparations...

Just came back from the local priest...

I actually never thought that a wedding would be so much paper-stuff xD

We are in the process of planning ours.

I'm starting to plan ours. Just a simple barn wedding, but I still have a year and a half to go, so I haven't gotten too far into it.

Tips would be appreciated!

It's on 1st of June (but 2019). My fiancee will be wirting his Master-thesis till then, so we have to plan long abead.

My wedding was so easy. I asked my Pastor if he would marry us a certain day. We had my mom, his dad, our 4 kids, and 2 friends attend. Then after we went with the kids and my mom out for dinner at our favorite restaurant.

Vex - what country are you in? Just curious because of the traditions.

I still remember the prepparations for my sister's wedding. It was more simpler than most, but because we were doing it all ourselves, and with little money, it was slightly hectic. xD

Oh man. I wanted a courthouse wedding and a big party after. The hubby was the one who wanted the whole shindig, but of course didn't want to plan the damned thing. In the end, I wouldn't have gone with the courthouse after all. It was so much fun to have all of our family there.

as much as i hate my country, im happy that (one of) my partners and i can legally get married, and the marriage laws here are so slack that you dont even need to show ID! also, its quite pretty here.
