I just don't understand why the people who could actually change the gun laws, don't do anything about it. How many more innocent people have to die before something is changed?

As much as I love America, it's ridiculous things like this that make me scared to raise children here when I'm older. I think this tweet pretty much sums it up

ugh this just breaks my heart ;n;
most of those fatalities were just babies, freshman just starting out their exciting teenage years. it makes me sick to think about this situation. it makes me super grateful that my schools from elementary to high school were gated/had security guards and although i thought of it as a prison as a kid/teenager now i am thinking it was more to protect us situations like this :I

For anyone who doesn't know Aaron Feis was a football coach who gave up his life in an attempt to save students from gunfire. All of the people depicted in this cartoon are victims of mass shooting, far too many of them being children. It kills me to know that there have already been a reported 18 school shootings and it's only February 16th.

It is so surreal to me that anything like this could happen.
I've read through several discussions regarding the lack of gun control in the US and my jaw just drops. Someone suggested arming the teachers... as a teacher, the day I will be forced to bring a gun into my classroom to "protect" my kids will be the day I quit my job.

My school has gotten threats like this before. This is truly terrible. A couple months ago a student was spotted on the property with a gun, and last sememester there were threats of a student shooting up the school. Mind you I don
