Just got this guy from Aloy.... would converting him to another dicipline help at all, do you think?

Yes, converting him to Dressage would help make him more of a suitable show horse. However, it's non specialty stats total will be over 60, according to his parents. You may have some troubles getting some wins, but I don't think it will be impossible.

well what are the base stats?

my guess is that he was fed cubes as a foal and an adult, and was trained in driving with the knowledge that he'd eventually be converted over to dressage. that's the method i use on my foundations; i don't bother showing until the second or third generations.

his sire was obviously fed sugar cubes post-breeding this horse, and i'd assume his mother was as well (or possibly haycubes). Feeding non-spec treats after breeding can throw off what I think are the base stats of horse should be, which i why i always ask for them to be revealed before buying :)

well according to that i would convert to dressage because he will probably show better in that discipline :3 i have 2 spare credits if you would like (;

and i agree with kahzie which is why i only feed sugar cubes to foals under 3 then once i convert their training i will feed them normal treats to keep those non-spec stats low c;
