Not sure on implementation, but it would be awesome to see the stats a little more well-rounded and not just focused on the two stats for a certain discipline, and it would be nice to see more disciplines represented. It would be interesting to see horses compete in multiple disciplines without 'converting' all their stats over.

In real life, thoroughbreds retire from racing, and with some retraining are very suitable for all kinds of events. An ex-reiner might be a bang up dressage horse. I would imagine eventers may may good hunters, jumpers, or dressage horses, or vice versa.

I understand this is a game and perhaps real life is too complex to mimic. It seems to me that what makes a horse a successful show horse is 1. conformation and genetics 2. training 3. physical fitness level - 1 isn't going to change a whole lot, and certain types of confirmation make them predisposed to do better at certain disciplines (horses working at speed may be downhill - barrel racers, cutters). 2. Makes a huge impact, but if you go from jumpers to eventing, do you start at ground zero? No, some of that translates. Maybe there would be some kind of measure of how similar or dissimilar the disciplines are? 3. fitness - as far as I'm aware, this isn't factored in right now and I'm not sure how it would be, other than how frequently they're being showed or trained.

Just some thoughts.

No support. For me, adding more disciplines adds more clutter. Not to mention how it would affect the already poor horse economy. And, like others suggested, adding more disciplines would make showing horses even more difficult if they are in a not-widely used discipline.

Sure, I would love to see more western type disciplines but I don't see the point as to how it would actually improve gameplay.

I simply don't see how adding more diciplines, even ones that "share" common stat break downs is a good idea in any shape or form for the economy and overall gameplay.

No support.

Id love to see reining added as a western type discipline.. Ideally horses would require intelligence and agility ( just like dressage horses) That would be so cool.. lol
