Shading the hind of a horse

Hello,

I am currently working on a horse "butt" tag, but I just can't seem to shade the hindlegs and butt right. Can anybody give me some directions on how to shade this?

I am only at join.me right now and shading manes and stuff like that. So some direct help while drawing would be useful.
