I can't explain it fully, so I'll just put it into words that hopefully ya'll should understand. To be completely honest, I feel like a bird in a cage. I want to fly off, but I can't. And I'm being tormented because I can see freedom, but I can't grab it. And I feel like everything I do isn't good enough and I'm sick of it. I want to be good enough, but I just can't be. And because of it I have way too much pressure on me... I wish I could go more into detail, but I shouldn't.

I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. Without some more details it's kinda hard to understand what's going on but I think I do know a little what the situation is. However please do remember that you

I don't know much about your situation, but I can sympathize with the trapped feeling. It's not a fun one to see freedom right there and not being able to grab it. I've always thought of it as i'm like a pig or a cow or something and i'm stuck in a small paddock right by the barn. I can see the horizon but I just can't get over/under/through the fence.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a bit of cabin fever (which is totally understandable), plus the change of routine from no longer having that gymnastics involvement. I suggest finding another kind of exercise you can do on your own terms, so you can release some of that energy and feel a bit stronger again. Yoga and pilates are both pretty good options for all-around strength and don't require tons of equipment or space, so that might be something to consider. I do yoga very regularly and am more fit now than I ever was before, and I find it helps with mentality too. c:

Oh yeah, I feel that on a regular basis and I totallyyy understand man. I agree with River about the yoga and pilates. Might I suggest, if you have a wii, games like wii fit, sport, sports resort and there's a superr fun mat game outdoor challenge. That last one really puts you through your paces. It's a good way to do activites on your own time.
