Why are there so many horses in the rescue center? Some are all the way to regional level.. some are just plain foundation horses and most of them are called just stuff like: aaa, ..., mare, stallion or test.

because when breeding, you generally only keep the foal / foals that will help the breeding program. whats the point in keeping a 55 confo foal when the rest of the breeding herd is in the high 60s? and colour - if you breed two nicely coloured horses and get something simple like a chestnut, you dont really want it. some people have too many horses, some people give up on breeding projects or just an entire herd . we call them simple names like that (mine are usually cull or rc) so that when i go through my horses, i know which ones to get rid of instead of having to just hunt through them, and i just leave the name the same.

some people go through lots of foundations hoping they'll find certain trait(s) they're looking for (be it color, stats in certain areas, high confo, etc.) and stick the "leftovers" in the RC, no biggie.

in the past, ive created hundreds of horses trying to find a few dozen that are worth keeping. the ones that aren’t got tossed into the RC where they either disappeared after 3 days, or we adopted by players that had different goals when it comes to EV  horses than I do.Â
