Is it worth it?

Do you think that it's worth it to maybe...... Put another breed into my barn?? Start breeding another breed? The breed I was thinking of was Akhal-Tekes. In order to start another breed, I would probably Stop breeding a breed that I already breed. If I did start breeding Tekes, and stop another breed I would probably stop breeding Lipizzaners. Any suggestions on if I should start the breed?

Ooo yay! The Teke community could definitely use more breeders, so I highly recommend it. 
If you were to breed Tekes, I would suggest disciplining in either dressage or racing, but we do have a couple show jumping breeders if you are interested in that. I like to think Teke breeders are pretty good about sharing studs and foals with each other, the market isn't too bad. I've never had to drop a foal in the RC.
What discipline are you interested in doing?

As a side project I breed racing amd jumping tekes with Cr dilute! ^-^ The more the merrier!

You should totally join the Teke breeders! I have most of mine in Racing, though I am doing a line in Driving for fun :D

My Tekes are Endurance trained & originally I planned on setting up a line of Racing Tekes too but its one year on & I still haven't got around to doing that yet! Maybe later in the Spring...

Yeah, dressage would be nice! Do you know how common they are? If they are rare, then it may be hard to find more, I think.

According to the statistics, dressage seems to be the most common. In my experience, I have had transactions with at least 4 different dressage breeders in the game. However, the more well known breeders tend to be breeding race tekes.

Alright, thanks RemRem. I still think I will do racing, (if I do start to breed!) But I will put dressage into thought.






3/9/2018 UPDATE:
I've decided on giving tekes it a shot! I'm now looking for a stallion & mare foals to start off with, then breed them, buy more, the works. So yeah... I'll be on the lookout. Also, I've decided on dressage for my tekes. I already have tons of other dressage breeds, but I decided that's what I'm gonna try. c:
