Help please

Okay, so I made an offer on a trade (I have never done a trade before, so I'm not really sure how it works). Today I got a notification that my offer was accepted. At that time I didn't exactly have the amount I offered on hand, so I went to my bank account, withdrew the amount I needed, and then went back to the trade to find out who had done the trade (it was someone that I do not see often on Ev, so I didn't really recognize the player). But when I went back, it said this trade no longer exists. Does the trade work that, when she accepts it, I have to send all the stuff I offered to her, or it automatically does that itself? Because I don't know who the player is. I only know the initials to her player name...
