Alex moved from beside her, slowly winding his arms around her waist as to not suddenly grab her and scare her, nosing gently into her hair as he forced his form to solidify as much as possible. "It's the least I can do." He bit his tongue before he called her sweetheart - it just didn't seem right anymore, like the word tasted disgusting in his mouth.

Auberon
Auberon got his breathing somewhat level.

Denver

"She was in chains... And there was a voice. She asked me to promise her something..." He took a dewp breathe trying to stop hyperventilating. "What happened?"

Jade
Even though the hug did nothing to warm her, it felt so much better than Noah's. She leaned back into him, noting that she was starting to faintly see his arms around her. "I'm scared of him, Alex," she whispered, for the first time admitting the fact to herself. Jade closed her eyes momentarily, enjoying the simplicity of the moment. This was why she would endure the cold. Nothing that Noah did could equal this. As the thought went through her mind, it felt as if the temperature dropped another five degrees. She did her best to suppress the shivers.

Denver

Auberon stood there still skocked. "Tell me whats going on!"

"I- I'm not quite sure. I'm no expert on meanings of things like this... but I think all we can do is hope." He sighed. "If you see her again, the best you can do right now is let her know you're there."

Alex
Alex could almost cry - Jade sounded so little, so scared. "I know, lovely." He murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to the back of her neck. He knew he wouldn't be able to stay long..... but he would stay as long as Jade wanted him to. It wasn't like he had anything else to do at the moment.

Auberon
Auberon nodded. "Will she be okay?"

Auberon let out a groan. Turning around her ran his fingers through his hair. "Oh... Should I go back to bed? Nonono I dont want to do that again" he turned back towards Denver and started pacing.

Jade
Star nudged her hand and Jade gave him a gentle pat in return. Staring at the fire, leaning into Alex, exhausted from Noah's "visits," the cold, and fighting off the halfwolves [though she hadn't done much], Jade felt her eyes grow heavy. She wanted to fight off sleep so she could cherish this time. She knew Alex wouldn't be able to stay. But, regardless, Jade slid into an exhausted and blissfully dreamlesd sleep.
