He trotted back over with a small tube in his hands. He tugged the cap off and pulled another napkin out of his pockets. Bobby squeezed the tube and a gel plopped onto the napkin. He gently wiped it into the cuts left by Katie's nails and then produced a few band-aids from one of his pockets, handing it to James to adhesive to his cuts.

Auberon felt sick as he stared into her eyes. He didn't feel ready... "Yes," he said softly, trying to control the shakiness in his voice.

Kahlen

Auberon felt slight relief being out of that room. He stood next to Kahlen looking around. He focused his attention finally on what was going on.

Auberon smiled seeing Kahlen with Denver. Tears came to his eyes again as he felt the pull to let go of her. But did he want to? He blinked his eyes trying to hide his emotions.

Auberon felt less comfortable as she took him to another flashback. He wanted everything to just go away, and maybe he could just wake up and Kahlen wouldn't have even been there... none of this would be there. How was he suppose to push everything away he had dealt with in the past and start a new chapter so easily?

Auberon looked down trying to avoid eye contact with her. He wanted to say something, but words wouldn't come to his lips; so he stood there in utter silence.

Kahlen
Kahlen could tell that he wanted to say something, but didn't know how. She took a breath. "We should go," she said gently.

Auberon
"Kahlen," he said turning to her. He looked up at her eyes aware that his own betrayed everything he was feeling. "I don't think-" he cut himself off. He wasn't sure what he was more afraid of.
