Has anyone had success with...

Sorry if this is a dumb question but, has anyone had any measurable success with breeding horses for "luck"?

Is the luck factor individually distinguishable enough to pass on to foals?

Luck being that "extra something" that horses have that enables maybe a slightly lesser horse to beat a horse that is "better" than it (at least this is my definition from my understanding, please set me straight if this is incorrect!).

I thought the luck factor was dependent on training, not on breeding.  As far as I am aware, any two horses with the same stat distribution and the same training level will be run on the same "luck" settings in the game (though of course that doesn't mean that they will win exactly the same number of times.  "Luck" in the game seems to be more like a probability setting - increased luck seems to increase the probability that a horse will perform better than it would if results were based only on specialty stats plus tack stats.  But, no matter how high the probability that the horse will perform better than expected, there is still a chance it will underperform, and no amount of game "luck" will save a horse that, for some reason, keeps hitting the least fortunate roll of the dice.)

Game "luck" is not hereditary at all, as far as I know.  There's just the five training levels and nothing more.  Every horse is born at level one.
