So sorry Jasmine. These things unfortunately happen and not all organizations or people are truthful about the animals they place (I recently lost a client because the shelter lied about the dog's history and he had to be put down; his random, neurological aggression was THAT bad). It's not ever really an animal's fault, so try not to feel angry with Poppy, hard as it may be at this time. On the plus side, she could very well be manageable with behaviorist intervention. If you're willing to give her a chance, I'd find a good behaviorist in your reasonable area and get an evaluation to see if she could improve.

Thank you Vos. I sincerely wish I could take you up on that offer, but this morning my family took Poppy from the friend’s home I had her staying with, without my knowledge, and had her euthanized. It was not my decision nor was I given a choice or say in the matter.

I was not and have never been angry with Poppy. Both she and Harley were wonderful dogs in their own ways, and I miss them both more than I can express. I could not have possibly imagined a worse situation, and my heart aches for their suffering. All I can really say is that they are now at peace. This was a preventable outcome and that is what kills me. 

I have now lost two dear friends in two days. If you are waiting on something from me, please try to understand that I may not be online too often. Thank you for your support and understanding.
