Etabia RP

You are about to be submerged into the world of Etabia. Here, you are a wolf. 

Etabia is split into two. There is the Mul Pack and the Bia Pack. 

Mul is a pack of fighters. The pack has a wide range of personalities found within, but all are passionate about the destruction of Bia, even though not all are full of anger. Mul are known for their matted fur, a style they adopted and claim it protects them in battle. The punishment for any crime in Mul is severe, and any wolf of their enemy pack that is captured is either imprisoned for life or executed. Mul's death sentence is drowning, for though fighters they prefer to avoid gory executions. Any Mul who joins Bia can never return, and if captured are shown no mercy. The pack's territory is the only forest in the small world of Etabia.

Bia are a peaceful bunch. They have chosen not to fight the Mul. They are a nomadic pack, moving from place to place in the vast desert. They know of every oasis and that is where they settle for a week or more at a time. They place guards around their temporary homes to alert them of any approach by the Mul so that they can flee at a moment's notice. Bia's philosophy is love, and so wish that Mul would choose to live peacefully with the pack. They welcome any Mul that escaped to join them.

RULES

- Please read all the information on Etabia and the packs. I know it seems like a lot, but it will help you understand the RP more.

- No swearing

- Not too much gore

- Romance allowed, but keep it clean

- No god-modding

Tanis // Mul Alpha
Tanis strode into the pack's main clearing, his steely grey eyes glancing around and giving any wolf who dared glance at him a cutting glare. He howled, calling the pack into a gathering. His matted black fur wanted to bristle in his anger, but he forced it to lay flat. The pack was mostly still asleep, and his harsh howl that called them into a meeting would be what would wake many of them up. He had a few important things to say before assigning jobs.

Hush // Bia Median
Hush stirred from her sleeping place and stretched out her legs. She gave her long caramel fur a short lick before padding away from the bed. She glanced at it once with a bit of pride. It had taken a long time for her to gather all the moss to make such a soft bed out here in the desert. She looked out at the horizon. No signs of the Mul pack coming to disrupt their latest spot. The nomadic pack sometimes arrived in a good spot just to be chased out again. Hush walked towards the sleeping place of Kol. Hopefully he was awake.

Lux

Lux stood next to Tanis and waited for the others to get up. She was second to wake up and didn't want to wait. She looked at the black wolf next to her and asked "What are your plans for today?"

Bellator

Bellator was already up and making sure there weren't any Mul attackers. He walked along the sand and listened to the quiet of the desert. He heard a sound and turned, quietly trotting over, he realized it was only Hush. "Alls clear, nothing as far as I can see."

Luna/Stella

Luna and Stella were asleep curled up next to each other. Both females hadn't sleep well last night so they were hoping to stay safe enough for now.

Sable
Sable yawned, stretching her jaws taut, then snapping them shut. She'd been wandering for some time, and was exhausted as a result. She just kept getting this feeling the Mul were planning some big attack. Maybe she was just nervous, or maybe she was too tired to think straight, but she couldn't help but think it wasn't.

Rasae
Sae scurried about, looking for anything to entertain her. All she heard, however, was the Alpha howling. She raced over, wondering what he was about to say, and if it was anything to interest her.

Vyre
Vyre slowly opened his eyes, rolling lazily onto his side and blinking sleepily. He curled himself up tighter, prepared to go to sleep again, when the Alpha's howl split the air. Surprised, but more annoyed, he considered pretending not to hear, but he knew where that would get him, and he didn't want to lose what little trust the Alpha had in him, if he trusted him at all. Slowly, he heaved himself up, walking away from his cozy sleeping place and shivering in the brisk morning air. I wonder what he wants?

Keeta
The small wolf stepped lightly through the forest. The earth felt cool and damp, and the grass was soft and wet with dew under her paw pads. She paused at the coo of a morning dove, then continued, only to catch a scent she wished she'd never smelled. Bia. For a moment, a growl rose in her throat and an enraged look came over her face, but right afterwards, it disappeared, as she realized she'd wandered onto their territory. She'd trespassed, not them. Hurriedly, before the smell of Bia mingled with her scent, she hurried back to the Mul's territory. Whew! Close one.

Nona - Mul - Sweets
Nona stretched out near the dens with a loud yawn, her ears perking up at the sound of a familiar howl beckoning her to the clearing. Her pups, Koda and Valric, hopped out of the den and tangled themselves around their mother's legs. "Easy." Nona said softly, and stretched once more before making her way towards the source of the howl. She had no doubt that their leader was in a foul mood, not that she blamed him, tracking the Boa's have been quite the pain. "Come on you two!" She called to her pups.
"Was that Alpha Tanis?" Koda asked, prancing beside her happily, completely oblivious to what chaos might ensue. 
"Yes darling." 
"I-Is he mad?" Valric squeaked out, sticking close to his mother, constantly almost causing her to trip.
"Not at you, everything will be fine." Nona whispered down at him, and reached down to pick him up by his scruff.

Malvis - Bia - Alpha
Malvis paced back and forth in the vast desert, grunting to himself as he began to grow a little worried. They have remained in the same spot for a little longer than he would have liked. Should they leave as soon as possible? Or maybe stick back a bit longer for some rest? They have been moving for quite some time, but what would be best? He sat himself down, and lifted his head with a loud snort. "Sable!" He called out, turning his head back in her direction.

Sable
Sable was wondering if she should go take a nap, or if she had more important things to do, when she heard Malvis call her over. She trotted in his direction, sensing he was worried about something. "What's the matter?"

Tanis 
He glanced over at his second-in-command, his beta. "You'll find out," he snapped under his breath. He felt bad for snapping at his loyal second, so he looked at her straight-on. "Sorry." He kept his voice quiet. "I'm planning on sending out some scouting teams, try to find the Bia... again." His lips curled slightly at the thought of the illusive pack. The Mul began to slowly file in. Tanis saw Rasae, then Vyre plodded in, looking like he had just woken. Keeta hurried into the clearing. Nona and her pups filed in. He could faintly hear their exchange. He smiled slightly at the two pups, the future generation. When the whole pack had settled, Tanis signaled the start of the meeting by dipping his head to the gathered wolves. It was not only the signal to start, but the signal to sit down and pay attention.

Hush
Hush dipped her head in thanks at Bellator, relieved. The pack needed at least a couple days of relief. She saw their Alpha, Malvis, pacing farther in the distance. She faintly heard him call for Sable and saw her trot to him. She looked away, wishing silently that they wouldn't move. They were tired from their long run, and it would take the Mul a long time to reach their destination from the Mul forest if they knew where they were, but the Mul had no idea of their location. Hush glanced at Bellator, then to where Kol's den could be found. "I hope we don't move quite yet," she said softly. She only ever said things softly. As a pup she had rarely opened her mouth, hence her name. 

Nona/Pups - Mul
Nona, at Tanis' command, sat herself down and plopped Valric down from her mouth.
Both of the pups noticed their alpha glancing over at them, and Koda puffed up proudly at his slightly noticeable smile. Unable to help it, the larger pup victoriously looked over at his younger brother to gloat, "Did you see that, Val? He smiled at me."
"No, it was us. Dummy." Valric grumbled, suddenly feeling very embarrassed to have been carried by his mother. He sat himself down in front of Nona, and lifted his head in an attempt to look bigger than he really was.
Koda growled, and crouched down. "Who are you calling a dummy?"
Before Valric even had the chance to respond, Koda tackled him to the ground, officially starting a war between the fur babies. 

Malvis - Bia - Alpha
The alpha huffed and sat down, gazing down at his paws for a conflicting moment. "Do you think we are far out enough from the Muls?" He asked softly. He wasn't usually this paranoid, but as time went on he was sure the Mul's alpha was becoming more and more impatient. "I am never sure how far they will take to get to us these days." He admitted, and looked over at her with a small frown.

Tanis
Tanis looked at the two brawling pups with slight impatience. "Koda and Valric," his voice rumbled loudly, "please refrain from interrupting this meeting or you will both have to sit in your den... without your mother." He thought it was good for pups to attend their meetings and see how the pack worked, but he had little tolerance for interruptions. Without waiting for the pups to respond to his statement, he was towering over them in one long stride. He pulled Koda off Valric and said softly, "For the record, I was smiling at both of you." He then strode to the front again and looked out at the wolves. "If the young ones can remain still long enough, I'll begin to assign jobs. But first," his anger boiled as he remembered the important note he had planned to start with, "I have a little note. The Bia evaded us again a couple weeks ago. How much longer will we allow this to go on before we crush the troublemakers under our paws?" He paced in front of them. "Soon, it will be time for us all to go together and stop the Bia!" He paused for dramatic affect, and also because he knew there would be a cheer at his impassioned statements.

Sable
Sable frowned, thinking it over. "I must admit, I don't like running from them. We've been able to avoid them so far, but they're bound to catch up with us eventually. And we're powerless to defend ourselves if we won't fight," It wasn't a complaint, just stating facts he knew as well as she did, she figured. While she wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of returning to their violent past of fighting, she knew she couldn't stand the constant feeling the Mul were planning some attack. "I know everyone's worn out from our last travel, but we can't possibly be safe from the Mul for long here. We can't wait more than a few days. Even that might be too long." She didn't want to make everyone keep moving after the long travel to get where they were now, but it would ensure they stayed safe for at least a bit longer. How much longer, though? "I think we should move at least a little more, and soon," She decided. "Some won't be happy we're moving even more, but it's for the best."

Rasae
Rasae snapped to attention as the Alpha began to speak, and watched him separate two wrestling pups, then addressed the entire pack with his announcement. She smiled at his words, glad they were preparing to capture the Bia at last, after so many failed attempts. She quietly showed her enthusiasm by saying "Good" softly and smiling.

Vyre
Vyre couldn't help but smile a little at the Alpha's announcement, glad those horrible creatures would be defeated at last. He knew they'd failed before, but he had a good feeling about it this time. He joined the group cheer that was rising among the gathering, more softly than the rest, but still just as glad about it. This was one thing that could make him happy, and he intended to show it, although perhaps not as loudly as most.

Keeta
Keeta's eyes sparkled at the idea of defeating the Bia at last, cheering louder than anyone else. She couldn't help but inwardly laugh at her brother's feeble attempts to show his support, but she managed to keep from laughing out loud. At least he's doing something other than staring rudely at everyone.

Lux/Beta/Mul

Lux nodded, instantly forgiving him and sat patiently to listen to what he had to say. She cheered and smiled at Tanis' speech. Her eyes showed her fire of detest for the Bia. "Sounds wonderful" she whispered.


Bellator/Guard/Bia

"I hope we stay for a while also, but I am not sure. Malvis seems to be thinking about moving again." He dipped his head and sighed. "Just be careful, alright?" He turned to walk away to see whether Malvis had reached a decision.


Luna and Stella/Medians/Bia

Luna finally got up and nuzzled Stella. She smiled as Stella groaned and stood up. "I am going to go see what scenery is around. See you later" She trotted off.

Stella sighed and wandered over to the small caramel wolf. "Hi Hush. I hope we wont have to move again, but Luna's pretty sure we will. I mean, she is wonderful, and I love her, but she is excited to move around, not me." Stella laughed

Tanis
When the cheering died down, Tanis scanned the pack with a tinge of pride. "Now, the assignments. Vyre and Arcane, I would like to give your assignments privately. Gaia, Rasae, and Keeta, I'd like you three to go into the forest and bring back some prey. A small deer would work. Stick together - a deer cannot be taken down alone. Nona, you can stay here and watch your pups. After I talk to Vyre and Arcane I would like to talk to you as well." He turned to Lux. "You also need to speak with me afterword at the same time as Vyre and Arcane."

Hush
"Hi, Stella," she replied. She chuckled softly. "Moving keeps us safe, but I know many who have tired paws." She looked out over the vast desert. She knew where the next oasis was. It wasn't too far. She was suddenly struck with an idea, but she didn't know if it would be accepted. She needed to tell Malvis and Sable, see what they thought. It would be a risk, but she would be willing to go through with it alone if need be. "Excuse me," she said as she raced out toward her alpha and beta.

Nona/Pups - Mul
Nona bowed her head to Tanis, and shot a look to her pups as a warning that they were going to have a talk later about their behavior. "As you wish, Alpha Tanis." She said, looking down at Valric as he cowered under her with his tail between his legs after his little scolding. "As for you two..."
"Sorry, Mama." Valric whimpered immediately, dropping his ears down and looking up at her with his big pleading eyes.
Nona sighed as she gazed down at the runt, unable to hold onto that spurt of irritation towards him. She licked his head, then turned her attention to Koda.
Koda hurried over to Nona, a little hurt to be scolded by the alpha as well, but he pride wouldn't allow him to show it like his brother would. He sat himself down silently, and curled his tail in closer to his body but forced himself to keep his body standing straight.

Malvis - Bia Alpha
"Exactly what I was thinking." He agreed wholeheartedly. There was no doubt in his mind that he may receive some sort of complaint from the pack if they moved any further, but safety over luxury was something he believed in strongly. "If we run for a couple hours longer, we could find a place to stay for a day or two. That would be cutting it close, but these wolves can only take so much." Malvis sighed, and stood up just in time to see Hush running up in their direction.
"Hush... what can I do for you?" He asked kindly, managing a small smile in her direction.

Tanis - Mul Alpha
Tanis dipped his head once more to the pack, signalling the end to the meeting. He decided to talk to Nona first, despite what he had just said. He told Lux this and then padded over to Nona. He smiled at her and the pups. "They're getting to be a handful, I see," he said. He addressed the pups. "What do you two think you want to do when you get older? Be a median? Hunter? Guard?" He said it lightly, but this was the reason he needed to talk to Nona. He wanted to get an idea of their abilities and what role they might play in the future. He also enjoyed talking to pups. Some might call him soft, others invested in their future. Tanis didn't really care what they would say, because he knew their history. Besides, Mul weren't cold-hearted killers. They loved, and smiled, and laughed. They hated the Bia, yes, but the Bia were filthy vermin worthy of their hatred.

Hush - Bia Median
She dipped her head in respect after skidding to a stop in front of the two. She looked back up and smiled in return. "I'm assuming we're moving again," she said softly. "The Mul are going to try to track us, like always." She paused, not sure how well her idea would be accepted. "What if we tried to throw them off? I haven't thought too deeply about it, but we can try to throw them off our scent."

Nona/Pups - Mul
Nona laughed softly, nodding in agreement as she gazed down at the pups affectionately. "Indeed they are, I can't seem to get them to stop wrestling these days." She said, and pulled Koda closer to rest a paw on him playfully. 
Koda nipped at his mother's claws and jumped out from under her hold to address the Alpha proudly. He puffed up his chest, and raised his hackles to make himself seem larger than he truly is. Truthfully, he admired the Alpha greatly and wanted to be exactly like him, but becoming a hunter was the next best thing in his eyes. "I want to be a hunter!" He barked eagerly, he longed for the thrill of hunting those his pack despised. He wanted to make them proud.
"Ah I'd like to be a guard..." Valric shyly put his input in from behind his mother's leg. Nona dipped her head down and pushed him out from under her so he could present himself to the leader properly. "Ah-ah.. a gu-.." His head dropped. He wished he had the confidence his brother had, but being born the runt of the litter brought him down. He wasn't the biggest or the strongest.. overall he was actually quite small. He wanted to make himself a reputation in the pack, but he had idea on how to go about it.

Malvis - Bia Alpha
The alpha straightened up at the idea of the quiet wolf. He's never personally had a long conversation with the she-wolf, and even expected such an idea to come from her. "While that is quite the idea, I don't think that is possible at the moment." He sat back down, and lifted a hind leg to briefly scratch behind his ear in thought. "How do you plan we go about this?" He questioned, his eyes looking her over expectantly.
