2018 EV Olympics | FINAL RESULTS

Please pause the Olympics until the show bug is fixed since those who ARE getting points have an unfair advantage and will most likely win their divisions.
Remember, we have no idea when this will be fixed.

Yes, I just began to notice that my horses are not showing and therefore are not receiving their points.

Done. Unfortunately this makes the scoring quite a bit more tedious, so if everyone would be willing to switch to riding school until the bug is fixed, that would be a great help to me. 

Bear in mind that all points gained before the Games resume/bug is fixed will not be counted, so continuing to enter shows really isn't going to help you and will only serve to make things move slower for everyone else.

To accommodate for the lost time, additional days will be added to the competition time.

I'm so sorry for the complications guys, it really sucks that this bug had to pop up now.

From what I’ve heard, shows are beginning to go through again.

If things continue to improve, I plan on resuming tomorrow.

If anyone is still having issues please let me know.

I entered the first day the bug started then schooled the rest but shows are now running so one of mine is gaining points I will report the amount earned once resumed and continue schooling them until the games resume

Bug is still not fixed, at least for me, so we will not be resuming today :(

I know this wouldn't be a fun idea... it would be a lot of work and Jasmine I would be more than willing to try to help when I have time. 
But perhaps we should just stall this competition for the month of January? Then we can either choose to lock our current contestants OR we can come up with new competitors. 
This is only because of my mix up yesterday where I accidentally showed (I'll be writing down all points they gained yesterday so we can later subtract those points made yesterday! If we do continue on with these horses. I'm no cheater :) ) 

I think stalling it for a month would just be easier as well. Since horses like mine and a few others have show points, it's hard to know if some were working while others arent (so it could be confusing) on which points are fair. Also we don't know when this is going to be fixed, where I'm positive this will be fixed by January. At this rate, we wouldn't know how many extra days to give us, etc. 

Not sure if you or anyone else would agree to this idea, but thought I would throw it out there to think about :) 

That sounds like a good idea, Saber. I hate to say it because I was SO excited and it sucks to have to wait a month, but things are just really confusing in EV land these days, and it will be stressful to try to do the Olympics in the midst of all the uncertainties. 

I will 100% help with point tracking, Jasmine, if some people want to use their current Olympic horses for an "Olympics 2.0" and they start with points.

I’ll just swap out what horses I’m using if we stall it. I’ve been doing riding school on them but the back logged shows are rolling in and they’re pointed now. 

It shouldn't be a huge deal to start with points though- we just look at the points the horse has the day before the Olympics start and record them. Then it's just a subtraction problem. Tedious, but not giant problem! If my computer worked I could make an excel spreadsheet that would calculate it all out...

I wouldn't mind just starting this whole thing over in January. This bug and the stall is only holding up my horses as showing is the way I prefer my horses to get their stats.

Yeah, what North pointed out works as well for if you don't want to stall until January. Just look at the points they have on the day we start showing again and subtract that much from it.
But I still think we should just stall. I could breed some horses now and by January 1st they will be 3 years old and ready to show!
