Breeding Pairs

What do you look for when deciding which horses to breed? Similar conformation, try to fix low conformation, similar total stats, etc. Also, what is the max amount of goals you like to see from a stallion or mare?

It really depends on your own preferences.

However I typically, pair by color, then stats, then conformation.

Except with my clydes, I pair for conformation, then stats, and then color.

I try to avoid paring poor traits with poor traits, but am flexible to a certain point. I like the average conformation to always be higher than 50 (when I can).

Max foals for me is 6 (but thinking I might increase this with my stallions, maybe to 8?).

I look at conformation, then stats. Color isn't really a factor for me at this point (other than trying to stay away from gray). Once I have well-bred horses with good builds, I will then focus on stats and color.

Color + stats. I'm ignoring confo until I get to second/third gen pairs, but I'm also trying not to let the average go under 50.

Thanks for your input! I'm trying to decide who to breed when I get my horses to that level and cannot decide.
