How does selling art work on here?

Well, like the title says, I have no clue as to how to enact transactions involving art on here. I would like to be able to sell my art on here but I'm new to the game. So if someone could show me the ropes on selling my stuff, I'd be grateful.

What part of it do you need help with? Pricing, or sizing, or types of art, or what sells well? Or any mixture of those?

There's basically two methods of delivery for finished pieces - posting them in the sale topic in a pickups section, or sending a message to the purchaser with the link to the image. The pickup method is common with tags and sigs, whereas the message method is more common with character designs and custom pieces.

Tags must by default be 150x150 pixels to function here, and sigs must be 500x150 pixels. Full page deluxe homepage images are 1000 pixels across. Sizing on any other art is entirely up to you.
