15 Credit Character Contest [CLOSED]

I just bought this extremely handsome boy, Catalyst, and I’d like to get a character to go with him. He is a water elemental stallion, who is wild and usually solitary. He spends his time in a lake, and the surrounding forest. I would like a mare to go with him, that can be his go to companion when he wants company. 

Colors can be anything for the character. Natural or unnatural. Add ons are always a plus, though I’d prefer simple ones for her. I’m just looking for something that looks good with Catalyst. 

Whatever isn’t chosen may be sold. I would like to have the opportunity to purchase any I like, but don’t suit Catalyst, first. 

Requirements 

Must be on mare/gender neutral lines

Must be an Appaloosa

Free, pay to use, and custom lines are all acceptable

Proper crediting is a must 

I’d prefer adult lines

 End date: October 31

Do you have a specific or preferred pattern that you like or dislike? 

I honestly like them all. I have this post and down a bit I put examples of some I like, but even that varies a lot. I like flashy markings (big, flashy, interesting blankets are one of my favorites). Most importantly I want it to be different than Catalyst, but I want them to compliment each other. So whatever looks best matched with him, no matter the pattern :)

I tried to make a mare to match!



I was basically going for sort of an "opposite" of him- mostly black.  She's supposed to be sort of a varnish blanket appy, with delicious leg spot and face mottling. :D

I'm glad you like her!  Oh golly, after looking back at him, I hope she doesn't look -too- much like him!  I saw him as an appy that was mostly white with large spot patches clumped together.  For her, it was supposed to be more mostly black with a blanket/mottly with bits of white peeking out >.<

I personally think he’d look good next to her! They’re similar but different, and my whole goal is something that is going to end up complimenting him when I have them together for art and such. If nothing else, I just think she’s a gorgeous design anyways :)

Hope you like her! I figured since he's so dark and spooky looking he needed a companion who was just as lovely, but his opposite. :3
