Flaxen Gene- Carrier or not?

Hi! I have a quick question about the Flaxen gene. I've read about it in the genetics section of the help manual, but I'm still slightly confused.
So if a horse has the gene FF in the genotype, would they be a carrier of the Flaxen gene or not?
(Example taken from this mare.)

If a horse has the FF gene they do not have it. If the horse has Ff they are a carrier but it does not show. If the horse has ff they are a carrier and it shows. The flaxen gene also only shows on the chestnut bases. :)
