Too old to be bred?

Before the recode mares and stallions weren´t able to be bred when they were 21. It´s the same now?

I'm pretty sure as soon as they turn 21 on this they die, so that would mean you have to breed them at age 20 or younger. That's just a guess.

It's the same. My horse Golden Love on my main was transferred over being 21 and unless she died last night they still expire randomly after 21.

I tried to breed her with her mate again because after the recode the foal was horrible and I couldn't find the option to breed. Then I realized it was because she was 21, not 20. :(

Also there is a 5 day gestation that I'm more curious about..what if you breed at 20yrs and 6 days? Will the mare still randomly die at 21 because I've had horses die the day they turned 21. Anyway due to gestation i'll be breeding at 19 in case the first foal is a failure..

I think I saw Abbey comment on that somewhere, if I remember right, she said if you breed your horse at 20 or 21 they will be fine to have the baby and die after or something because they'll die at 22+ or something.

you can also use the age rewind if you transferred a horse over at 21, to get them to 20 to breed once more ^^

it can only be used once per horse, and is a credit item but its useful for those of us who transferred oldies over O.o
