What's New?

Hey, guys! What's new? :)

You may have noticed that I haven't been very active lately. Well, my life has been so busy, but in the most fun way.

I've been super involved in my church, and started singing on the worship team at the beginning of the year, so I've had practice once a week and getting up earlier than I'd like on Sundays, almost every week. XD Not the most fun part, I'll tell you that, but I enjoy it nonetheless.

I've been on so many road trips this Summer. Well, about four or five, but that's a lot more than I usually go on. 

One of them, I'm excited to y'all, was to travel to an open call American Idol audition. Yup. American Idol. I auditioned for American Idol. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the next round, but I had so much fun just being there, and becoming friends with some of the other amazing singers there. I started school last Monday (ugh). I'm going to a new school this year and they start a week earlier than literally every other school in the area, but I'm really enjoying it. The schedules are totally personalized. You get to choose when you take what class, so some days I don't start classes until nine (I'm not a morning person, so that's a win) and some days I don't start until ten (even bigger win). Plus the student body is a fourth the size of my previous school, so it's not near as hectic and cramped. I love all of my teachers and the general community. It's great.

Do y'all artists ever, briefly, lose your talent? XD I've barely drawn all Summer, and it's like learning how to draw all over again. Speaking of art, those of you who I still have to finish up Tags and such for, I'll get to it soon, I promise. I haven't had the time lately to do anything when it comes to digital art, but with my schedule moving into a more organized, relaxed nature, I'll be able to do more. Plus, with the job I got over the Summer, I'm saving up for a Slate, so that'll definitely help with the ease of my digital art. Exciting!
