'Yes really now can you tell me a little bit about her so I know what is going on"she said 

"She's a rescue, her owners were very strict and only cared about her progress in jumping, not how she was handled. That's all I know, but she doesn't like other horses or really people for that matter. I guess you could say she wants to be her own boss most of the time."

"Ok then. The first thing we need to do is show her she's her own boss in the field or in her stall. But she needs to learn to trust us first"she said 

"Yeah, I've been trying to work on the trust thing."

"Grooming is a good way to earn a horses trust and just sitting with them in there stalls"she said 

"I can try that."

"Go ahead and try it for the next couple of days and I'm sure she will gain our trust "

"Okay." He replied.

Then once she trust you we work on commands 

"Sounds good!"

"I'll see you tomorrow "she said and walked out 

He spent some time leaning against the rail in Honey's stall. He spent a few minutes there and then walked off into the stable. He stroked Ariat's face, "How about some jumping tomorrow boy?" He then felt guilt. "I'm sorry I haven't really been able to spend time with you." He kissed Ariat and then walked to the house to get ready for the next day.

She made it home and went to bed and the next day school was as boring as ever

The day seemed to go by slowly at school, nothing to do.

The teachers made them read and didn't give them home work. But finely the bell rang for the end of school
