I'm back, back, back, back, back again!

So, I haven't played in months.  I paused to deal with life, and then never got restarted because my enormous herd was too time-consuming.  So I'm planning on downsizing and probably starting fresh.

I've got a couple of questions, though, with the new changes.  First is, if I put my horses up for auction, and they sell while wearing tack, would I be correct in assuming that the tack would go with the horse to the new owner?  If I want to keep the tack, I need to remove it first, right?

Second - with the new foal training, I know you can't set the specialty until the foal turns 3.  When you set the specialty, the stats earned from foal training transfer to the two traits that are associated with that specialty.  My question is, will stats gained from treats also transfer to the the specialty traits?  Or do you still have to do the trick where you put the horse in the wrong specialty and then pay the fee to change specialties?

1. yes, they will sell with the tack they are wearing if they're currently equipped.

2. you'll still have to do the "set in wrong specialty and then swap" trick, as treat-gained stats won't move for anything but a specialty swap

Welcome! I am fairly new so we have never met :) I am Saber, I've been playing for about 2-3 weeks now.

Also, to ask a quick question about the specialty swap thing... If you've been giving them treats that already add to the stats of the specialty you want, is there a point to changing specialties? As the stats have already been given to the specialty you've been wanting?
