So I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with my water elemental appaloosa stallion Catalyst but I am offering him to a serious person who will develop him further and use him as a character.

My three main characters all have real life ties and all three mares have ties to Catalyst and his home. I have years worth of backstory for this herd that I've wanted to write out for awhile however after realizing how much time and thinking I'm really putting into these guys I've decided to let them go instead. I like to make art occasionally but I'm not skilled enough to make the level of art or the intricacy of art I feel they really deserve to tell their story. I constantly start art for them and am not able to finish it because I'm too unhappy with it. So what used to be a pleasant distraction when I had the time and creativity has become instead a point of frustration and I hardly even want to do art anymore. 

I have much more important things to worry about in my real life then imaginary characters in a story that realistically I'll never have time to write. I won't be parting with my three main characters because they are too personal but I feel like Catalyst's tale isn't over and that with the right person he could go further. He can go on to someone else and the book will be closed for me.

My three main mares always had strong ties to my life, but Catalyst was my touch of magic and imagination. My unnatural, unrealistic water elemental creature who needed a human characters to figure him out, history, an origin and an explanation. He had a bigger part to play and hopefully someone else will feel similarly about him.

Sorry if that sounds totally crazy and over invested in a fictional character but anyway, I'll give a brief description of what my human characters have discovered or theorized about this boy so far and a bit more about his personality.

15hh approx, CATALYST is a mysterious and wild water elemental stallion that my human characters both admire and protect. He has sired several offspring and does occasionally enjoy time among their small equine herd but he doesn't tolerate human contact and can be quite territorial and aggressive to those who get too close. While he does have an equine form, his origins and specifics are mostly unknown. He can't be contained by fences or held by ropes, though he can be tempered or weakened by certain weather. He has a full water form and an equine form that we know though he may have other forms too. We know that he doesn't sleep in his equine form and that he hibernates under his frozen lake home in the winter, we also know that if he stays out too long into the winter months he can actually freeze solid and become vulnerable but we have a visual warning of this as his coat and hair will lighten if he gets too cold. He is fiercely possessive of his lake home and the surrounding forest and we suspect that his life force is somehow connected to the environment around him. 

His home is a large lake hidden within a protected forest preserve. His forest/lake territory has four normal seasons but is also not quite normal at any time. There is a heaviness and weight to the presence of the forest around his lake, predators are naturally deterred and it almost feels like your not alone. If you mean no harm and are accepted by the forest, you will feel at peace and be remarkably healthy for the duration of your stay but if you mean ill to the forest, the lake or any of its inhabitants it will literally drive you mad. Its a place of undefined magic that keeps the few human visitors both awed and cautious. Very few humans have seen or know of Catalyst and his age is a mystery to all. He isn't a pet and I never saw him becoming a pet, he's wild and agressive, a mysterious force of nature that occasionally gets lonely and spends time as part of a herd.

He has sired several offspring with his little herd of mares, though only one has inherited any water abilities.

His first foal is Korella's Elu, out of my appyXtb Denali. She is the only elemental & unnatural looking foal out of his progeny. He then has another filly with Denali, also Korella's now; Riiver. He then has a filly(Flickre) with my varnish leopard girl Trinity and a colt with my few spot leopard draft cross Xander that I will be keeping who isn't fully designed yet.[/color]

I will be putting him up for bid to see what interest there is however to anyone who does bid, please also tell me abit of what you'd plan to do with him if you got him. I'm more concerned with him being used then making a bunch of money on him.
