The bassalic showed up and she attacked 

He tensed up, staring at the unusual creature. He leaped into the air and sped towards a nearby tree, then latched onto the thin branches, entangled within the leaves. He examined it, as his physical abilities were not meant for fighting. 

She was badly injured but kept fighting with the creature trying to kill it. 

He saw a chance. Seeing his only friend be hurt pained him. He made a swift single movement, a spinning movement, twirling like a bullet being shot from the muzzle. He let his wings catch the air as he took on the updraft. He rose higher and higher, then suddenly curled downwards and let his wings tuck close to his body. He fell fast, getting closer and closer to the ground, and his target, by the second. Before he hit the ground, he formed a spinning position. As he got close enough, he suddenly twisted his body and wrapped around the air. He suddenly swung his spikey club tail around and struck the weird creature. From all this force, when he hit his target, he was continued in his spinning position and was flung twirling straight into a tree. Unable to stop, he hit the trunk hard as his vision blurred. He was stunned there for a few seconds.

She jumped out of the way and jumped back into the thing biting it's neck before she was flung off and pinned underneath the thing

He shrieked when he saw this happen. Ignoring all the pain, he was only focused on one single thing.

Saving the only other individual he cared about.

He dashed towards the creature and clamped his sharp teeth around its muscular leg.

As the creature fell she bit the neck if it and killed it. She then laid there with a broken wing and blood oozing out of her shoulder and side 

He approached Aloy.
"Are you okay?"

"I think so but my wing is broken "

"Oh.."

He didn't know how to heal a broken wing.

"I'll be fine. In the bag is my spell book can you get for me please"

He rummaged through the bag and slipped out a dark heavy book.

"thank you" she flipped through the book and found the healing spell. She healed her wing and healed the claw marks on her shoulder and side but left scars

He stared at the body of the creature. It was unique.

"are you ok"
