My Little Introduction

... which isn't some interesting parody of My Little Pony. :P

Hey, guys, I'm Infinite and I joined a couple of days ago. I'm up to level 3 now and I wanted to introduce myself! I've found that in my super short time here I'm already addicted to the game. I've played many sim games, probably tried almost every one at least once, but there's something about this one that makes me already love it more than all of the others. I'm still trying to figure out the game, but I'm finding it a lot easier to dive into than 90% of the other games I've played (which is a relief considering how stressful joining a new game can be for me :P). I'm going to focus on Thoroughbreds for show jumping. From what I've learned so far, I'm thinking that means I'll be focusing on stats? Maybe? Haha, I don't know, I just want speedy horses that can jump xD. At some point in the future I think I'll take up a breed for dressage, too, but for now I'm just going to stick with TBs.

As far as myself, I'm a drummer who is two weeks away from turning 20 (yikes!). I play primarily Christian rock, but I enjoy jamming to other genres, too! My focus is just in that genre. I ride weekly and am hoping to be able to buy a horse of my own within a few months. I learned western growing up, but since I sold my last horse when I was 13 I switched to English. I did Dressage for the longest time, even on Paso Finos, but most recently after a short stint trying reining, I've switched to show jumping and I'm absolutely in love with the discipline. Since hunters is really popular in my area, I have a feeling I'm going to be dabbling in that arena, too, but my focus is on the jumpers. I was a partner in TB racehorses for the past four years, but I'm no longer involved with that. I'm still as passionate about horse racing as I always was, though! As far as other things go, I have a serious obsession with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. I have a tattoo of a chao on my inner arm and I plan on doing a full blown Sonic sleeve one day :P. Yeah, it's that bad of an obsession. My Thoroughbreds here are all named based on Sonic characters and Sonic stuff. Obviously, I enjoy video games and I also like to roleplay, binge TV shows (emphasis on Merlin, Cake Boss, and Dance Moms), read, and write. I am the proud, possibly crazy owner of a dwarf bunny named Spike who is my everything (I have no life lol). I also have a guinea pig named Evani Demi Wisconsin "Evani" (there's a story behind that name xD), a Lab x Shepherd mix named Rain, and a goldfish named Cato.

That's basically it about me. This was longer than I wanted it to be... would you believe me when I say that I'm a super shy introvert?xD I'm excited to get to know you all and if you have any tips or tricks for me, I'd really appreciate them!

Welcome to the game! I joined a while back but stopped playing for some time. I've been back about a month now and I agree with you - it's far easier to dive into this game and get your barn going. The other two games I play are a bit harder. One I've been playing for nearly 13 years, the other takes forever to build your stable up on so I'm about two or three years into it and still building lol. This is my escape!

@Valkyrie I'm in another game that I've played since, gosh, it's probably been five or six years now I think and I'm still struggling along. It got so frustrating that I decided to take a bit of a break from the game and that's how I found this one!

@Almare I'm sure you do! I recognized your name right away. I was Anya for a while before I switched to using Bexley and I still go by that name in non-automated games. I also played as Marley Oaken for a little while before I used the name Anya. I wanted to find a non-automated game, but active ones are hard to come by these days, unfortunately.

Welcome! I've been playing for about 2 weeks now, and have just gotten to level 5!! 
I've played a couple other horse sim games as well :) 
I've found this game very complicated diverse, however still very easy to get a hang of! It's very well put together that way.

@Infinite, it's so gorgeous here! The locals are loverly people too. ^^ My one complaint is the weather, it's always hot and humid, haha. It's supposed to be nice in the winter, though! 

@Saber we must've joined right around the same time then! I just got to level 5... last night, I think it was! I love seeing that exp gauge fill up :P.

@Cho Chang Oh, that makes me want to visit even more! I would love that kind of weather. I'm in PA and we have ridiculously unpredictable summers (four tornado warnings in my area this year and I only ever remember going through... 5 total in my lifetime) and freeze your butt off winters. I hate it xD. Do you get tornadoes there?

@Infinite, lol, I prefer freezing my butt off. XD

We don't get tornadoes, but we do get typhoons. And close to typhoons. Usually about 3-5 a summer during the rainy season. But the power usually doesn't go out, so that's nice.

@Cho Chang I wonder how I'd be in a typhoon..... I'm terrified of tornadoes, like trembling terrified, but also thunderstorms in general (only recently developed a fear of them due to all of these tornado warnings lately). We can totally trade places if you want!:P I'll take the hot and humid weather and you can get the freezing Pennsylvania winters!
