Beautiful Sorrel! Got the recessive e from each parent plus the Ata!

Very nice! The At doesn't show, but the Pangare does which is pretty cool. I haven't seen too many Pangare showing Mustangs.

So it isn't the ee plus the Ata that determines Sorrel  (versus Chestnut)? It's ee plus Pangare that determines Sorrel?

That's correct, North.
chestnut + pangare = sorrel

the At can't be expressed because the foal is ee. If it were Ee or EE, it would be a mealy brown.

Thanks Khazie! I love the genetics piece so I am really trying to learn.

In the game, pangare + red = sorrel.

In real life, chestnut and sorrel are the same exact thing. No genetic difference.

Yeah, Vos, I was reading up on that yesterday. It seems to be a matter of strongly held opinion - lots of arguing on forums about what constitutes chestnut versus sorrel, lol. No specific genetic difference IRL though, apparently.
