Warning Rant *screams*

Okay, I love my chickens, and had a lovely flock of 7 Silkies + 2 Rhode Island Reds. 

The other night, a raccoon managed to break into my chicken coop, and killed all of my chickens; except for one RIR, but who's so badly injured that she's literally a walking corpse. D: 

I had 1 Silkie (he looks like this anyway) Rooster in the Chicken Competition at the County Fair and was relieved that he was safe; NOT!!!! Apparently, someone stole him last night, and left the 3rd place ribbon behind; adding insult to injury. 

I'm sooooooooooo mad and if I EVER catch the person who stole my rooster; I will give them a good old fashioned chewing out.

That is awful I used to raise chickens and understand why you are so upset. I hope you are able to catch and get rid of the coon. As for the rooster thief I hope he/she gets their comeupins. 

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry to hear that!! What a bad few days you have had. :( I'm sorry for your loss and I hope both the raccoon and human meanie get their karmic justice.

How awful! I'm sorry to hear your chickens were killed, and in some ways even sorrier that your rooster was stolen, since that was truly malicious intent. UGH.

I've calmed down. Thankfully!

The man in charge of the chickens at the fair gave me a gorgeous Silkie Rooster that is just as good as the one I lost; but if I ever catch that idiot who stole my other one, he/she is going to get a verbal thrashing! 

Oh, God. You poor thing. *hugs*

I know how it is to lose chickens. I had chickens three months ago, but we had to move and we gave them to some friends. An osprey killed one of my chickens once. It hurt. 

I hope you find your stolen one!

Wow. Just wow. This makes me mad. Like, not irritated, but actually mad. I mean, I'm annoyed with the raccoon, but as it's an animal who doesn't know better, I can't blame it that much. *internally screams at raccoons* I hope you can catch it, though, as I'm pretty much done with those pests who kill all your small animals and steal your stuff. I have gone on vacation in the Phillipines, and this is quite common over there. Except the people over there give the culprit a good old Tagalog (Or whatever their dialect is) verbal thrashing. I'm pretty mad at the person. I really hate it when people steal chickens. A lot of people think chickens are just plain old animals, but they have personalities too, just like dogs and cats. I hope you find your lost chicken and also the idiot who stole him.

Oh man. That really sucks. I remember when I was in FFA. I was in it for 5 years. I raised and showed pigs (Durocs, Hamps, Yorks, and Blue-Butts). I would have died had something like that happened. Shoot, my last year in FFA, one of my Yorks got Grand Reserve.

I think I need help.

For the next month, I'm going to the local chicken auction, and see if I can find my fella. I also am going to be working on reinforcing and cleaning my chicken coop like crazy. :3
