Registries

#117669 Posted on 2017-08-12 13:59:29

So I've been investigating Registries.

I've figured out that they have to do with Club memberships..

So I have a few questions stemming from this

1. Do you have to be in the club in order to register the horse?

2. Once you're in the club, how do you get your horse registered? Or if you don't have to be in the club, how do you register?

3. Does being registered help the horse in anyways? Does it give them stat bonus' or help them win shows?

Thanks guys :)

1 - Yes, you do have to be a member of the club to register a horse.

2 - If it is a club that has a horse registry, and that you are a member of, there should be a spot in the club information on the main club page (down where it shows the number of members, the owner, etc.) stating something like "[some number] horses registered"; you can click on that link to be taken to the page to register your horses. Most clubs have specific requirements for registry - maybe needing to be the specific breed, a minimum number of stats, certain conformation, etc. Some clubs are set to automatic registration, meaning you will *only* have the option of registering horses that meet those requirements, and they will be automatically accepted. Other clubs have manual registration, meaning you have to pick which of your horses you'd like to apply to the registry, and the owner or an admin of the club will need to accept or deny it. (But you should make an effort to ensure you only apply to register horses that DO meet the requirements listed.)

3 - Mostly it's just bragging rights or the ability for the horses to enter club-run contests. It can also be a way to show that you're serious about the breed/the goals of a certain club. The horse gets a badge on their page saying they're registered with the club. However there's currently no stat bonus or show boost for registered vs. unregistered horses.
