Horse conformation tips

Hello! I'm still fairly new here and I think I have mostly everything down. I just wanted to know how you would increase the conformation of horses? I have some good/poor horses but I have seen perfects and want to know how you achieve that.

Hi Hex! Conformation is a judge of how well a horse's body conforms to the breed standards, so since you can't change a horse's body, you can't improve a horse's conformation in its lifetime -  you can only improve conformation through breeding. So by breeding two horses together, their offspring may or may not have higher conformation than one or both of its parents did, depending on how you matched them up. Other factors may apply since it has been noticed it is not a straight average of the parents' conformations that determines the foal's, but all of the variables have yet to be discovered. Some of us are particularly interested in breeding for conformation  (myself included), while others put more emphasis on stats or colors. It's up to you how you want to play!
