ISO Advice about Lippizaner Horses

So I've just started up a herd of Lippizaners. Does it make sense for me to keep buying higher quality horses to breed/show/raise? Or does it make more sense to continue expanding my set of foundation horses?

It's entirely dependent on what you want in a line. I have both, 3 herds of foundations and a set of ( I think 6 or 7 of lined lippizaners). My thoughts are to breed the lined horses out to public studs(to add to my showing line) or to add them into my foundation lines several generations down the road.
