Bruises!

#115794 Posted on 2017-07-27 22:57:28

The other day I was going out on a trail and my horse decided he wanted to go really close to a wooden post aaannnd ran my leg into it.

Today, one of the ponies at my barn somehow got his foot on my ankle and stepped down with his tiny, shod hoof and I had to stand with my foot off the ground for a solid minute because it hurt so bad.

Gotta love horses...

Ouch I have never had a horse step on me (mainly because I don't really have anyway to get around horses!)

Dang man! I think you need to invest in some nice boots.

My horse steps on me allll the time but I have some nice strong boots so it doesn't hurt at all. He looooves invading my bubble.

There is one horse at work who literally tries his hardest to hit your shins when you're leading him. Once I was the person leading him around with a kid on him and I ended up with a couple of giant bruises by the end of the day!

My horse has only stepped on my foot a few times though, and usually not very hard. He respects my bubbles most of the time.

I understand c:

If you don't have eBay already, I highly suggest it. I find deals there alllll the time. In fact, I just recently bought a phone case half price, and a used saddle half price- much less than listed on the original website or new.

I like the Ariat Fatbaby (round toe, short top) for work boots. They're thick material and have lasted me about 3 years now, including horses stepping on me lol. New, they're about $100. But I've seen plenty go down to like $40 on eBay. Just takes some searching (;

Soooooo just search up your size, brand, whatever, and there's a really good chance you'll find a deal on there (:

I understand the pain, though I feel like my feet are really numb to it because I don't recall it hurting very much. Like just a lot of pressure? Idk, although I did stab my foot with a pitchfork, now that really hurt xD It went right through my rainboots. Hope you feet feel better!
