Since we have instant foals now and the heart is now defunct. How about a icon that lasts for the cool down period after breeding? So we know when a  horse can be bred? It would of course only be for mares. This would replace the heart and mark the horse until they were available for breeding again.  Its kinda tough when you have larger herds to keep track of who was bred when.
