One Of THOSE Days

My sister called an hour ago with the results of recent scans and dr. appointments. Several years ago, she had 2 herniated discs in her Lumbar region. Both ruptured. She had back surgery but has been in pain ever since. Lately, her pain level has been at a pretty constant raging 10. Turns out, her entire Lumbar region, including the disc directly above and directly below, have all ruptured. 

I'm... in shock. And scared of what this means for her. There's no plan of action just yet, but I'm taking off from home to go be with her. She practically lived with me during my surgeries, chemo, and radiation last year. I'm in no danger of breaking just now. She keeps trying to tell me I don't need to come up, but her husband has a mandatory week long business trip, and our mom has a mandatory seminar trip to Chicago from the 3rd to the 7th. She does not need to be completely alone in her condition.

I'm suddenly very tired and feel like crying. I have to keep reminding myself to breathe. I just....

Oh, I'm so sorry! I really can't say anything... I have no words. Don't give up. Stay with your sister, she needs you right now. I will keep you both on my thoughts and prayers ♥

Simply just being there may help her and you both.Sometimes when the world spins out of control for a moment its nice to just have someone there,even when its in silence.I hope this too shall pass for you and your sister.I also find music is comforting when anxiety and stress seem overwhelming.Prayers for yall.
