WINDSPUN QUARTER HORSES -DISPERSAL!

#114356 Posted on 2017-07-15 14:29:33

Yup,you read it right...Ive decided to sell off ALL my Quarter Horses here on my Quarter Horse account...I honestly don't give them the time or attention they deserve....and frankly, I need a new challenge...new breed...( in much smaller numbers..) Time to start fresh with another breed and lot of foundations... but hey, change is good tho, right? Well thats what they say anyways..

So..every single horse here is up for grabs.. All REASONABLE offers considered! Can sell the entire herd(s) or individually..first come first served...Make me an offer I can't refuse...

Will consider all offers,  including mixed EVC/EVD (1 EVC=75k) , trades for other breed foundation herds (only herds that have been trained, treated, shown or schooled daily  ( not sure what breeds Id be interested in but I know Im not looking for minis, trakes, paloosies ( gots lots of those),mustangs (gots lots of those) umm.. would have to consider herds on case by case basis.....and maybe peppermints ( 20 peppermints=50k)

I will attempt to put horses up for bidding...however, as offers are received, horses will be removed from sale..

**any horses not sold, will be deleted to storage...**

OMG this is gonna take foreverrrrrrr.....uggggg....

*** also looking for new breed suggestions..Im hoping to start with smaller herds ( maybe 24 max) of any new breed I decide to take up...

Breeds I already work with ( appys, Paints, trakes, teks, Clydes, Mustangs, Morgans... ) So any other suggestions for breeds would be great..not too keen on Friesians, I like colour....but ya, always open to ideas...**

I had a lot of trouble finding lippys when I wanted to breed so I gave up the few I had. so I say give them a try.

thanks cinder..for the suggestion...Ya, I did Lippys a while back...didnt last very long..I think it was because of the colour limitations..dunno..

Im quite partial to dunalinos and red duns...so any breeds that may have more colour...I would consider going for

UPDATE:

All horses now up for individual sale ( all AB). Also group pricing available for each section:
** please note, number of horses in each section may change as horses are sold, so I'll have to adjust group pricing as this happens**

Because most of the horses in the retired section are going to be gone in a few days, they're not up for sale, however, if someone is interested in any of them..feel free to let me know ...

AS OF TODAY, HORSES WILL NO LONGER BE FED/TREATED/TRAINED...ETC... ANY HORSES NOT SOLD WILL EVENTUALLY DIE OUT AND PUT IN STORAGE ( IN THE EVENT I WANT TO RETRIEVE THEM AT A FUTURE DATE)

Gosh, if I didn't have so many QHs and locked foals already I'd be jumping on those older foundations. Hope you sell them or dump in the RC, would be a waste of those foundies imo.

Do some thoroughbreds or welsh ponies, always need new blood there c; c;

Thank you so much guys for all your support..sucks in a way, I hate letting them go...spent forever getting as far as I did with them...but sometimes change is good..

I'll definitely be working with the Paints again ( back to my Dreamfinder days)..

I love dunalinos, red duns, cream and double cream dilutes..so it kinda narrows down the breeds I'd probably enjoy working with more..

@ Maple...I was definitely thinking about welshies...they're in serious need for some new blood..only a handful of really good quality welshie breeders around..maybe I could do dunalino, red dun, cream dilute welshies lolz... Get a tiny herd of maybe a dozen to start...see if they keep my interest..

If I did thoroughbreds, would probably do the same...cream dilutes and patterns..gotta have my patterns lolz..

Yesss Welshies, I had a custom pangare/flaxen/sooty/dun herd but the inheritance is terrible and I've lost them in my current herd. ;n;
I'm focused on chestnut/black based tbs with loud markings, little bit set back since that marking bug but hopefully I can work it out heh.
Better yet do both c;

Thank you so much @ ilove-horses..for purchasing 2 of my darlings..I hope you have alot of success with them!

hahahah @ Maple..soooo...just creating tons n tons of Thoroughbreds omgggg...almost every horse is bay or chestnut geez...blew a fortune with all the creates..so Im sure there are some awesome foundation TBs in the RC now..lol..
Finally got my 8 pairs...some buckskins, rabs and even a splash...locked til tomorrow when I have more time to sort them..lol

Nowww...back to the appaloosa account to attempt to create 16 foundation welshies! ahhhh...they better have a bit more variety than the TBs lol..

Im hopin to work with overos...cream and double cream dilutes...and I can never resist sooty, flaxen or silver lolz... Will just have to figure out what discipline I want...unless I just mix up disciplines depending on the foundies' stats ...

Annnnnd away I go...giggles

lolz @ blueeyedluv...I would probably be doing the same if it was me lookin to buy quarter horses lolz...Thank you so much for taking them...a few more days and they'll all be gone...some people call it dying off...I consider it  put in storage..cuz I do have a habit of pulling horses out of storage when I need them..

Will be switching this stable to my paint stable again..DREAMFINDER FARMS...just in case peeps find the name off setting lolz...
